This picture was taken in the summer of 1999, on Destiny's Child's second visit to the UK. Even at this early stage of her career, Beyonce's natural poise and vocal talent was always clear. That she would corral those qualities to become the preeminent force of nature she became would have been a stretch of the imagination, even for her biggest supporter at the time.
