"Gangsta's Paradise" was one of the biggest songs of 1995 and would propel the soon-to-be Grammy and Billboard award-winning West Coast emcee to global stardom. I met Coolio in 1994 at the beginning of his "Fantastic Voyage", in a large meeting room of a Kensington hotel. He was pretty unassuming and extremely accommodating for someone with his trademark appearance. This picture was one of the very first I had a personal sense of pride in.
